    What Gridfinity is

Gridfinity is an open modular storage system created by Zack Freedman: a grid of 42 mm squares that bins of any size snap into, always in multiples of that size. It's used in tool drawers, desks, workshops and kitchens, and thousands of people share their designs.

Here you generate your own bins at the exact size you need: width and depth in cells, height in 7 mm units and compartments inside.

    Dimensions we follow

    Ideas for using them

A 1 × 1 bin, 3 units tall, for small screws; 2 × 1 with two compartments for drill bits; a tall 3 × 2 for brushes or tools. Since they all use the same grid, you can rearrange them any time.

    Frequently asked questions

Do I need the baseplate to use them?

No, they stand on their own on a table or in a drawer. With the grid (baseplate) they stay fixed and aligned.

Are they compatible with other Gridfinity bins?

Yes: they use the 42 mm cell, standard foot and lip, with Gridfinity Rebuilt dimensions.

    What height should I choose?

Each unit is 7 mm. For screws and small parts, 3 units; for tools, 6 to 8. The stacking lip adds 4.4 mm on top.

    Does it have magnet holes?

Not yet: these bins print without magnets, which is how most people use them.

Is my data uploaded to the internet?

No. The bin is calculated in your browser.
